What To Expect
Nature Reserve of Scandola
Departing from Sagone and Cargèse, embark on an unforgettable day aboard the Senino, a comfortable boat with shaded areas, a bar and toilets.
Small in size, the Senino weaves its way everywhere, to show you around the caves and faults of the Scandola Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will make a free stopover of 2 hours in the small village of Girolata. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or bring your own food for a picnic with stunning views or a swim in a stunning cove.
After your stopover, the boat tour will continue to the magnificent Calanques de Piana for a complete visit of the caves, the natural arch of Capo Rosso.
We will stop for a swim in the turquoise waters of the Capo Rosso natural swimming pool (depending on weather and safety conditions) before returning to Cargèse and Sagone.

I strongly recommend the tour and the team. Scandola is beautiful and unique and the team makes a great effort to show you the highlights up and close. You don’t feel like a tourist but like a friend!

Good, a bit frustrating if you don not know French

The ride and the locations were very picturesque, especially the Scondola bio reserve area and the stop at Girolata was fantastic.
But not for people who are not fluent in French as the guide keeps explaining the whole history and the geography of the location but unfortunately not so much in English although in the booking it mentions English, French as languages available which is misleading.
For people speaking French, definitely a worth visiting, although I would recommend against if you aren't.
